Coin360 provides comprehensive tools to help users understand and keep tabs on coin and crypto assets. We were contracted to envision a new look and feel for the logo and identity of the brand.

Designing a new logomark

After exploring a number of styles and directions working with the team at Coin360, we landed on the connected ‘c’ shape — representing a complete picture of assets.

Keeping colors at a minimum is always key, however the challenge is always maintaining the balance of having enough colors to accommodate your needs while doing so. We helped Coin360 get down to the core colors that meets all needs while considering accessiblity.

An opportunity to adjust UI colors

With the new logo we were able to solve multiple challenges within design. The logomark provided a vibrant color with which we were able to apply to the UI and data colors in order to bring more saturation to the interface.

Updated colors solved for:

  • Color accessibility
  • More vibrant brand color
  • Better data readability
  • More contrast across the board

Applying the style to the interface

Working the new logo into the interface by implementing TT Hoves for display text while bringing the color through for the highlight provides a strong look for the brand.

Single listing page was updated reducing clutter, further increasing consistency across listing types, and improving readability.

In conclusion

It was an honor working with Coin360 to design a new logo and update the brand. We were able to quickly develop some strong improvements to the brand and interface that improved contrast across the board, provided a strong look that better represents the company vision.
